The prelims opened with Scottish flyweight Casey O’Neill submitting Lara Procopio in the third round with a rear-naked choke, extending her undefeated record to 7-0. Rick Glenn returned to the UFC after more than two years away to pick up a first round knockout against Joaquim Silva. The top of the UFC Vegas 29 billing saw the company’s #4 rated featherweight, Chan Sung Jung win a unanimous nod over the #8 rated, Dan Ige. “The Korean Zombie” did his thing on the feet, as well as in the grappling department. Despite a game effort, Jung was a step ahead of Ige to get himself back in the win column. Ige got ahead early, throwing out a bunch of volume while Zombie sat back looking to counter. Korean Zombie was surprisingly patient in the first round as he tried to time his strikes and even mixed in a takedown. Ige was right there to counter, though, as he hit Korean Zombie with some nice uppercuts and hooks. Korean Zombie came out firing in the second and planted Ige on his butt in the early going. ‘The Korean Zombie’ wins unanimous decision in back-and-forth battle with Dan Ige in UFC Vegas 29 main event

Mixing up his striking on the feet and a slick grappling game on the ground, Jung kept Dan Ige guessing for the better part of five rounds to win a unanimous decision.
